    BTS: plan the route, then the ticket

    Use the official BTS route planner to select stations. BTS lists single-journey tickets, day passes and Rabbit cards. Compare the ticket for your actual journey and check separate operators’ payment rules at interchanges.

    MRT: use the operator’s route map

    BEM’s MRT site provides Blue and Purple Line maps, fare tools, ticket information and contactless-payment guidance. Check your specific line, stations and accepted payment method there before travelling.

    Get Grab from its official download page

    Grab’s Thailand download page links to the official app. Install and open it while you have internet, then check that your destination and selected pickup match your trip before booking.

    Save a map, know its limits

    Google Maps lets you download supported areas in advance. Offline maps do not provide walking, cycling or public-transport directions, and offline driving lacks live traffic. Keep your onward route available separately.

    Prepare offline translation

    Google Translate supports downloadable languages for offline use. Open the app while connected and check whether a download icon is available for the languages you need; not every language is downloadable.

    Keep LINE handy when needed

    LINE is a messaging and calling app with an official download page. If your hotel or service provider uses it, obtain their contact details directly from them and set it up before you need help.
